Our Office
History of the Practice
The Children's Medical Center (CMC) has a long and successful Denver history. Dr. Max Ginsburg started the practice in 1931. Patients arrived by trolley and only highly respected doctors worked in the office. As the practice outgrew its office space, the staff and physicians moved two times to accommodate the patient volume. Dr. Jules Amer, who recently retired, has guided the practice since 1948. He remains very proud of the physicians and office staff who are the heart and soul of Children's Medical Center. "They are very special people" beams Dr. Amer. WELCOME TO CMC.
Mission Statement
Through quality health care services provided by physicians, we offer a health care home for infants, children, adolescents and young adults who need preventative care as well as treatment for illness, disease and injury. We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all children in the Denver metro area. And to the extent our resources permit we will not refuse care to any child.
